BI performance counter: Total Processing Failures – Windows service

Description

Features such as report subscription, delivery and snapshots rely on the availability of a Windows Service in order to function. This counter keeps track of all processing failures of such features. It’s a cumulative number of all errors encountered since the restart of the Windows Service.

Suggested solutions

  1. Install latest SQL Server Service Packs and Cumulative updates
  2. Check the Reporting Services error log file
  3. Grant users Browser role permission
  4. Consider running data sources as Windows credentials
