BI performance counter: Total Events

Description

Interaction with the SSRS Windows Service is made possible through HyperText Transfer Protocol (HTTP) and Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI). This counter monitors all events that has occurred within the Windows Service. It is a cumulative numeric value that can be reset back to zero whenever the Windows Service is restarted.

  1. Increase hard disk storage to store more event logs
  2. Consider verbose logging by modifying DefaultTraceSwitch in the configuration file
  3. Query the dbo.ExecutionLog view in the ReportServer SQL Server database
