BI performance counter: Total Requests – Windows service

Description

This counter works similar to Total Reports Executed except that it monitors all requests regardless of whether they were successful or not since the Windows Service was restarted. It is reset upon the restart of the Windows Service.

Suggested solutions

  1. Check the Reporting Services error log file
  2. Modify the ReportingServicesService.exe configuration file to enable HTTP Logging
  3. Allocate more memory (RAM)
  4. For a record of every HTTP requests handled by Report Server, you can go through the log files which is usually located as \Microsoft SQL Server\\Reporting Services\LogFiles
